It is currently 30°F and with the wind chill it is a balmy 17°F

BUT, I am going to be going to my local Triumph dealership to take a test ride and "look around" and the weather forecast is for tomorrow is 45°F and partly cloudy! Yippiieeeee!

Nice climate down there. We had around 50 degrees F yesterday. I rode in to work to start Springtime on a good note.

These posts make me smile since snow is a fading memory for me here in Florida but I spent my first 38 years dealing with that misery so I can definitely relate. I've been in Florida for three years and took a trip to Savannah Georgia and saw a sign I hadn't seen since I left New England - "Caution, bridges ice over before roadway". My first thought was "What is this ice of which you speak??". I did my time but I won't ever live anywhere cold cuz, well, i don't have to. Enjoy the upcoming thaw.

Well, be sure you only give them yours, because mine is Superior (ouch, that even hurt typing it).

No really we're fine here, apparently we are going to annex part of Tennessee - something about a surveying error from when maps were on animal hide.

Yeah so we get one of their major river arteries...

Georgia will never live this one down...

This morning I can see about a 1/4 inch piece of my bench in the back yard !!!! Just one corner ........... Trish and I went for a ride around town yesterday. The temp got up to around -2 but it was sunny and the roads were dry. Putted around for about two hours and got up to around 100 kph a couple of times ..... great fun !! Our first spring '08 ride.

It's around -10 C today + a nasty wind chill.

I woke up this morning at 10:30am and looked outside to see another bright sunny day. I checked the flag flying on the tallest building in Stamford and it was blowing so I figured it was cold. Went down to the garage to get the car for the 12pm Easter Brunch at the club and the temp said 47 degrees on the car thermometer. I thought maybe after brunch it would get into the 50's and I would take a ride before my Wed morning brake side foot operation. Alas - this was not the case after eating. It was still cold and windy and I decided against it. No big deal - there is plenty of riding time coming. I say within 30 days the weather will be favorable and I will be back out there. Until then I have plenty of other things to keep me busy.
