Couldn't take photos last night...my fault i sorta got lost on the way home...if you know what i mean... (dealership is about 13 miles from house but it took my almost 35 to get home hhhmmm...) I will be taking them today when I get off work....Couldn't even drive it this morning cause I had to take baby to babysitter that sucked. Ill give you guys the specs (oh and mods are a must with me)

2007 model speedmaster, black with dark red tank paint and the gold pin stripe around the red ( I love it)

I got 1500 or so in accesories for free (dealer had them on already and the triumph special was 1k in free so I told him to take off the windshiel I didn't wanna pay extra and he was like naw just throw it in the deal don't worry) (so sweet)

1. Road tour windshield (not sure diffrences but price is 400)
2. Triumph long motorcycle exhaust (385)
3. Triumph touring seat (230)
4. sissy bar and rack tall with luggage rack (370)
so plus tax would cost me near 1500...but no cost and no tax...nice...

The exhaust sounds great...louder than my yoshimura I had on my crouch rocket.

Coolest part was (aside from being less powerfull than my old bike and I plan on fixing that) I didn't have to change my rideing style. she corners very well...never coming near scraping the pegs...I was a little wierded out by having my foots on the pegs in front of me...I was afradi they would fall off the peg and hit the ground...but I see I can buy some floorboards so no issue there...

I love it...

Okay so now the other issue...I need to go faster (After my break in period of course..I have 100 miles on it so far) I have the exhaust so I figure a little bit HP boast but not much...what if anything can I do that won't void warranty...and so what if it does I guess lol...I see a bore kit that make displacement 990 or so...not sure what that means in more horses....I will def want to put a K N air filter on...but is the 300 dollar air box replacement thing worth it....anyway I fgure you guys will know some tricks of the trade to spruce up the HP (I can't kill the sports bike in my blood...and I figure I will have to be buying a speed triple here soon but till then to keep up with the crouch rockets I am going to need some work....)

Ill post pictures as soon as I get home today.....By the way...I live in Omaha NE dead center of the U.S. of A. for who ever asked...anyone nearby I am ready and willing to ride...

The price of air box removal kit is well worth the money. It really makes a huge difference. A lot of mechanically inclined folks on this forum do their own air box mods. Either way, just do it! Congrats on the Speedy.

I'd start with taking the snorkle off of the airbox, put in #125 main jets and turn the mixture screw out a few turns. Maybe spring for a Uni or K&N filter for $25. You could also put a shim (very small washer) under the stock needles which will cost very little. These mods will significantly help your performance, but won't cost very much.

If you need more, then consider the airbox removal kit and re-do the jetting to match.

To start, go look at the Dinqua web site which has tons of info on these bikes.

Personally, I wouldn't mess about with modifying the stock airbox...just remove it with the appropriate kit & dynotune the carbs accordingly.
