Free accessories?

I might be picking up a Bonneville Black shortly and have to decide on which accessories to choose. If you had $1000 to spend which ones would you pick? What about if you had only $500? I am thinking the centerstand, maybe a seat, manual, tach. Any other ideas?

For me, it would be the tachometer, center stand, service manual, solo seat, high sissy bar + K&Q seat for passengers. I have all of it, although it wasn't "free".

1-Tach
2-Centerstand
3-Grabrail

That should leave you with enough left over from your $1000 for a spiffy keychain fob.

yeah. From Triumph: tach, center stand...

Now that I think about it, you need to be able to spend it on some of our way-cool online vendors.

I can get the $1000 with an '07 if I can find one. Houston used to have three dealers but on just recently shut down. It makes it a little tougher to find an '07 Bonneville Black. One dealer is offering $500 in acc. on an '08 so I may have to go with that one. $500 makes the choices a little tougher to pick.

remember the 08 will not fit gas tank related accessories, new tank, plastic badges, etc.
I think tach, seat of choice, and centerstand are good choices.
But that depends on your priorities, some would advise pipes, jets, airbox removal, etc.
all are fun

Remember, you can get 3.9 percent financing instead of the 1000 dollars in accesories. For me, I couldn't imagine spending 1000 through the dealer to buy trinkets. My trinket interests run aftermarket, so I chose the 3.9 percent interest rate instead.

BTW, the 2008 tank is larger than an 07 tank, and uses glued on emblems, instead of screwed on emblems.

I'm picking my new 07 Scambler up on Friday from my new friends at Goldcoast Motorsports.

Here's what I'm getting -

Center Stand
Fuel Cap - Lockable
Headlamp Grille
Leather City Bag - Brown - Left side
Number Board
Tacho
Tank Badge - Heritage

I think it came to $1050. Must of been the number board that put me over!

Can't wait to ride her home...
