2007 USA Model Runout

Hi all

Anyone have ideas on whats going to happen to unsold 2007 bikes after the deals on 2007 models run out on March 31 - the deals are $1000 free accessories or 3.9% financing .

Seems to be a few bikes not sold at the dealers.

Probably what they did in 04? Dropped the $1000/ access & discounted the bike??

There will be good deals to be had. This is a great time to buy one of these bikes. They are inexpensive in the US to start, and with the dollar plummeting like a stone, it's highly unlikely that they can hold the current MSRP.

My dealer discounted my bike pretty decent (10% off ) on top of the 3.9 percent financing deal two months ago to get em gone. Maybe that's why there are no 2007s left in this area in the showrooms.

I am going to try to get a 2007 T100 model this Friday. Any suggestions on strategy. I am not an experienced motorcycle buyer so I might fall for newbie tricks.

Sheesh!! I had to wait 2 weeks for my Black!! 07 leftovers? Mebbe the odd Thrux? Good luck Matt. Just peruse the showroom and see if the Dealer has any on sale right now. Try and get at least the prep knocked off.

There's only 2 dealers here and they don't do much haggling unless they get models in with discounts built in from Triumph.

Matt

I found the killer is "setup fees" and "freight" which are over and above the MSRP price. I've read here that some people have negotiated these fees.

I paid $10K OTD In California for the same bike you are looking for with the $1000 of accessories. I didn't think it was a very good deal.

OTD Motorcycles in LA have new 2008 T-100's for $8999. But then if you add the $1000 of accessories you're at $10K

A good goal on a new bike....the OTD price is MSRP. Since it is an 07, you should be able to get under that.

OTD price is the one that counts...tax, title, prep, freight....that stuff is killer.
