Speedmaster low profile seat.

The New Speedmaster.com site sells a Bruser custom cycle low profile seat that is 2.75 inches lower than the standard seat. Wot I was wondering was has any owner fitted said seat & does it take your legs any closer to the forward controls?

Haven't tried that seat, but, I built a seat that was lower, and no. It' just brought my knees up a little. It seemed to take some of the pressure off of my lower back on long trips though.

i have a brents low profile seat on my america.
it is fairly comfortabledepending on your inseam length it may help reach the controls just by bringing your hind sight closer to the elevation or level of your feet.

Been great for me. I'm 5' 7" with a 29' inseam.
Love it.

Had the stock solo seat customized....basically took out the
edges and smoothed it round with a little out the back and middle.

Thought a good job for the money...and a little more comfort..can sit
further at the back and under the legs are not pinched by the seat edge
now it is smoothed out.
