Now Two Can Enjoy Her

I thought I would shorten and adapt the original seat, so I can take a pillion out on the Thruxton.

Now all I need to do is convice my better half that she wants to have the Thruxton Experience, just so long as I remember to fit the rear pegs!!!

thats pretty sharp. now have someone hammer you out an alum cowl to the fit the seat and you're in biz-ness.

I had to cut off approx 4 inches (100mm) from the front of the seat as the tank is 4 inches longer than stock.

Strap and allen bolts removed. Certainly a different look than my modified/reshaped single seat unit.

For what it's worth, I like the single seat better, although I appreciate why you put the Thruxton seat on.

yep, an aluminum cowl would look sweet, although it looks pretty dang good already.

Paint time!

paint in that triumph logo and you're good to go! I like it a little better with the thrux seat, either way though I'm still drooling

I'm waiting for the thread that is posted on a change in a bike where everyone says something about how great that is and doesn't have some suggestion to do it better, or change it, or improve it or whatever.

Been waiting for that thread since 2003.

But I'm a patient man.

Oh, yeah. About the seat:

Edit: Never mind, I made a smart-aleck comment that might not read in the humorous way it was intended.
