Bonneville, Thruxton, Scrambler weights

It's interesting that Triumph lists the weight of all three classics as 451 lbs. The Thruxton has lighter wheels and lighter exhaust than the Scrambler but does have a larger headlight and a tachometer. The Bonnie's have larger front fenders but lighter exhaust than the Scramblers and heavier handlebars than the Thruxton etc etc etc.
Has anyone actually weighed any of these models or have any inside info about actual weight?

Also interesting is the fact that Triumph lists the same weight for the Bonnevilles each and every year... 205 kg (451 lbs).

Does plastic weigh the same as steel?

I put my thrux on the scales at the local tuning shop up near Deals Gap last year. 481 punds fully fueled and the corbin smuggler fully loaded with tools, phone, camera, extra gloves, glasses, etc. Now keep in mind the Corbin smuggler seems to be made of lead and easily adds 20 pounds over the stock seat. Scott03 bonnies stroker 67 weighed in at 271 pounds with TT pipes (no mufflers) fully fueled as well. I would put my bike at about 430 pounds with a stock seat and no fuel.

it's possible, I got mine down to around 200 lbs once. The bike was really light but the power to weight ratio sucked:

I would think the power to weight ratio would depend on whether you are going up hill or down hill.
