Well, my local dealer has an 07 SM in Mulberry that needs a good home. I like the bike, but the power in stock form seems light based on prior test rides on jetted/piped SM's.
I would intend to turn this bike into a solo day-trip bagger. Here's what I have in mind for accessories, right from day 1:
- Long TOR pipes
- Airbox elimination
- AI elimination w/proper jetting
- Triumph footboards
- Triumph Lightbar
- Triumph Summer Screen (I'm 5'10" w/ 30" inseam & want the blast off the chest with no helmet buffeting
- Triumph Chrome Rear rack
I would prefer to have color-matched harbags, not sure which way to go with that.
I would prefer black, but the Mulberry looks great on the SM.
I would prefer EFI, but that's another year off.
Any other items that would make sense to consider, given the intended purpose?
