Corbin Customer Service
Most of what I've read about Corbin's service isn't good. Good product... lousy customer service. Partly because of the bad reviews, but mainly because of the cost, I've put off buying a seat from them. But I'm considering pulling the trigger on a Gunfighter & Lady soon, so I can have it before riding season is in full swing.
How long does it take to receive your seat after the order has been placed? I'm also wondering if I really want to send them $350, since they can't even answer my email regarding this same question.

The last Corbin I bought took about a month to show up. With Daytona Bike Week in the near future you should probably expect a longer lead time. And, since their email response is lame I think you might call and talk to a factory person 800-538-7035 for a better reply.

Corbin good
I found the customer service to be great
I bought a seat for my T140 and they got it just right. took about 4 weeks
I also bought a seat for my R80S, They discused my requirments with me and bult a "cusotm" seat at no extra charge to meet my (lack of )height requirments. The colors are a very good match. took about 4 weeks again
give them a call, the service on the phone is very good and they will send you color samples if you are asking for a color matched seat

Corbin
Last saddle took 3 weeks. They said it would take 2 to 4 weeks before they shipped. It took 2 weeks to ship. I think it was order in late August or early September a few years ago.

I have several Corbin saddles and think they are great. The gunfighter and Lady is on my HD Dyna and is super comfortable. The thing about Corbin is that they offer so many custom color mixtures, they have to pull the mold out and make a unique combo for you based upon color specs. They sometimes have standard colors (think all black) in stock. If you order one from stock you will have it within a week. If they don't have the one you want in stock, then you go into the line for a custom saddle. Spring is at hand, bikers are ready to ride after a long winter, and I'm sure this is Corbin's busiest time of year.
Also, remember that they make saddles for those who have an appointment and pull up to the factory. You leave your bike, have lunch, and come back with a bike with a new saddle. Just the way you wanted it.

Just bought a Gunfighter seat for my T100, Took a little over three weeks from order to installation. I called to place my order and then Emailed to inquire about order status. Reply to Email was very quick and shipping date was spot on. So far, I am very pleased with the saddle although seating position did change.

Thanks fellas... sounds like maybe I shouldn't believe everything I've read about Corbin.
I'm thinking about an all black leather GF&L anyway, so maybe it won't take long at all.

Hey Phil,
I recently bought my Smuggler used from the classifieds but the original buyer never received a key for the trunk. I called them and told them I had bought it used and they were very friendly and sent me two keys at no charge. I would give them a call and talk to a live person. You can tell a whole lot more about people that way instead of email.

My sister bought me a pair of Corbin boots.......let's say 10 years ago.
Wrong size, so she wanted to ship/swap.......no deal until they rec'd the originals.
So she sends them back, they send the same size again, probably the same boots back. She calls, they say too bad, no swap until we get the other pair back..........again. She calls agin.......lame ass excuses why they shipped the wrong, as in same boots back.
All the while she's paying shipping, both sides, to and from.
She asks to speak to Mike Corbin, explains THEY screwed up and
he may want to either reimburse her or credit her for their mistakes.
NOPE, nothing, nada.zip
So as an MSF instructor every chance I get I tell the story.
Would you deal with a company like this?
Me either........
Oh and I met Mike Corbin, explained what happened, his reply.
Too bad........so I guess to work for a jerk, you need to be a jerk.

Corbin boots? Maybe in another life? I know they make great seats -I have had several and currently have a Smuggler cutom painted to match my Tang and white Bonnie-really cool. Good products as far as I am concerned. Took a while to get it but it is nice.
