ACF50 and Corrosion Block are approved for aircraft use. I do not believe that they will harm plastic or rubber. However, if it is on the surface of the tread, it might be slippery until it is gone.

Just tested my Thrux with a magnet, and indeed, it appears that the wheels are aluminum. I can't speak for the Bonnie though. Don't have one of those in my driveway, unfortunately.

Treat ACF-50 as WD-40 on steroids, once sprayed on it sticks to a surface and protects it for about 2 years.

ACF 50 is the answer for me. One thing I'm concerned about is water penetrating through the spoke nipples into the inside of thewheel rim and then rust forming on the inner rim. Would the ACF 50 prevent the water from getting through the spoke nipples or do any of you use another treatment for that, like some kind of silicone, that seems like it might work, clear silicone around the spoke nipples, definately would be a tedious job applying it though.

I just grabbed my magnet and headed for the garage. 2007 Bonneville T100.

Wheel rims: Steel
Front Fender: Steel
Rear Fender: Steel

I've read reports of plastic fenders, particularly front I think. Both my fenders gripped the magnet.

My thrux has plastic fenders, seat cowl and side covers. The only things that I think are steel are the upper parts of the forks (I don't know the names of them, I'm not in that deep yet) the tank, headers, silencers and the frame.

does anyone know where I can buy this ACF 50? Any MC shop? The airport? Home Depot? I can order it online, but I always rather buy it from a place in town.
