Well it is definitely cooler today!

I got in a very short ride of perhaps 15 miles. It was a sunny afternoon, but that was deceiving. Even with the heated grips on high, I immediately realized I didn't wear heavy enough gloves. But it still felt nice to run some of the side roads around the neighbor that are lightly traveled during the afternoon. Gotta remember, this is January, and this is definitely Northeast Ohio.

The T100 is running like a Swiss watch. Started right up, so I guess even the bike was fooled by the sunshine!

No salt. LOTS of rain when the front came through. It was in the mid 30s here today. Not bad and had I not been able to ride both monday and tuesday I would have been out.......oh..maybe not........there was something called "work" occupying my day. Forgot that.

Gotta hand it to you guys for getting out there. Beautiful day here (probably your weather moving east) today and I was tempted. But the last time, a few years back, I got lured out the bike was covered with salt and grime when I got back. No lasting damaged, but I did fret a bit.

Monte,

on the 1800/1300 question from the other thread, don't feel bad. I rode one and had trouble telling them apart. Big marketing mistake on Honda's part, IMO, but they didn't ask me. Actually, come to think on it, it probably helped move a bunch of 1300s.

Talking

It was about 38 to 40 degrees lastnight here in central Indiana. The roads were dry, and relatively clean of salt, etc. after the rains we've had recently, so I seized the opportunity to take our machines out for a couple of rides and circulated some StaBil in the fuel systems. Reconnected the battery tenders and tucked them in for possible winter hibernation. Today looks pretty good so far, as well.

Gee, I wish I could make the most of the glorious weather we're having here in Houston. Far too busy to get out. We're looking forward to next week when my busy spell is over and we can get out and RIDE!! However, this is Texas so we may have snow next week
