new Arrow pipes for Scrambler

So far I've only seen pictures of the 2-1 low slung arrow pipe for the Bonnie. But in this month's classic bike there's a picture of one for the Scrambler:

I like that set-up. Very clean.

Johny,

I saw it at the Birmingham bike show. Agreed, it looks good and it will knock some weight off the bike. Spoke to the sales guy and he said that they have a little more work to do the pipe before it hits the shelves.

Ben.

Now everything seems to make sense. I thought that low slung 2-1 Arrow system looked very much like the Zard. Now seeing the high-pipe system I see that the two companies are very much of the same mind! I wonder who is making what for who (or is that whom?)?

The Arrow pipe lookks great -except for those welds on the headers.
Now if they ceramic coated them black.... Mmmmm...
Then they would be really tatsy.

I like the look of the Zard system better than the Arrow. I don't know if they're any more expensive. But i doubt that either are cheap.

I think the Zard has been cosmetically cleaned up.
The first images over a year ago showed some very crude welding.
Maybe those holy heatshields are obscuring some horrors?
But then again the arrow must have some sort of heat shield which the magazine article has omitted.
Neither will be cheap.

Being shorter pipes than stock, they both work well to give the bike a good "center of gravity" aesthetic.

What's JohnyC doing looking at this stuff anyway?
I thought he wasn't going to mess with his Scrambler this time around?
Getting a bit tempted again, are we Johny boy?
Better check yourself into rehab before the madness takes hold!

Like I can talk.
I've just ordered a 904 kit!!!
Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
