A question for you moderators

Why is the Bonnie pics sticky in the Bonnie Owners Forum while the Scrambler pics sticky in the Triumph Twins Hangout?

The forum czars have booted some of my posts from the Bonnie forum to the twins forum because my posts were deemed "non technical"

Are Bonnie pics technical while Scrambler pics are not?

Before my time I think and I haven't moved any pics but let me guess:

The Bonnie pics directly relate to a Bonnie so that's the correct forum for them, anyone wanting to see a Bonnie goes to the Bonnie forum.

The Scrambler, no forum for that and it isn't exactly a Bonnie so it goes by default into the Twin Talk forum.

I am sure the Forum mods are open to ideas, but Monte is away and I'm filling in for him.

Any better suggestions ?

I kinda agree with Hiltz.
At some definition, the Scrambler is a specific 'trim level' of the Bonneville.

High pipes, etc, but the "guts" are the same (although timing and tuning may vary) so it would make sense they are discussed within the same "folder" of the forum.

A separate Scrambler folder probably wouldn't get much traffic, since those guys have already been hanging in the BOF, or, there would be duplicate posts/threads in a Scrambler forum, so I don't really see why Scrambler specific threads can't stay in the BOF. It's not like there is a bandwidth issue, and those of us with Bonnie's that are interested in Scrambler discussion have only one place to look. Seems like this is a non-issue, unless you count the disruption of moving a post from BOF to TT.

Of course, this is just my unsolicited biased opinion, so, YMMV, $0.02, caveat emptor and all that good stuff.

& what are the poor Thruxton riders supposed to do?
They must be feeling really left out of the party.

as a thruxton rider i couldn't agree more
the bonnie/t100/scrambler and thruxton are all just variations of the same bike.
I've never understood why Thruxton,s are separate

I suppose it's really where the emphasis is, Thruxtons classic style cafe races but also parallel twins. The forums are not remote from each other, just a bit like pages in a book, everyone's free to intermingle and obtain similar tech info from each other.

The alternative is to have one big melting pot but the present set-up does give some individuality. If there was a big call and interchange on the Scramblers for their own forum, as part of TT then speak up and put it to Shawn, I am sure he would listen if there was merit in it.

so by default. the sweet spot and legacy of the vine is the 2 gauge bonneville...

you leave the party and wonder why the keg didn't follow?
it would be fine with me if everyone was on the same page...I can sift thru endless rear sets, pipes, and jetting without having to buy something just as I can walk thru a mall unscathed...but it takes discipline to be comfortable in one's skin.

so your cut off point to kick my butt is what?...about 9 bucks?

...maybe we could meet 1/2 way and keep your expense down.
we could stand at each end of the toll bridge and hurl taunting insults...

...your sister is a motherless goat.
