A BIG Pint and a Great Ride!

SO, I celebrated the big '33' this past weekend. On Saturday my beautiful wife, who's put up with me for 13 years, made me the coolest birthday cake I've ever seen:

It actually has Guinness Stout in the recipe so it tasted as good as it looked! Also, the lettering and harp were done in chocolate so the entire thing was edible!

The boss then gave me the day off on Monday so I took a ride out to Joshua Tree. I set out around 9:30 or so and made it back home in time for a steak dinner around 5:30. Ended up being about 275 miles or so....just right for a solo ride on your day off.

Happy Holidays RatNet!

Almost a shame that you had that cake and had to eat it too.

Ahhh Joshua Tree. That is one of my favorite places on the planet. Your bike looks good there for sure.

You're going to have to talk to Monte about the geriatric stuff. Remember, I've still got 10 days and a few hours remaining before I go on Medicare.

BTW, OldTownRat, Happy birthday! Cake and a day long ride .... priceless!

Be careful. Only three pieces of cake and you're over the legal limit! Happy BD!
