new to forum
Hi all,I have had my Black since June and love it.Still miss the kicker and priming carbs, but three day of owning it I ripped off the mufflers and made my own empty emgos on ,take off snorkel and restrictor plate, and rejet runs much better. sounds like a proper trump with empty exhaust.
Any way bike is now torn apart for winter mods.I installed harley GP Moto clip on bars, lowerd head light/silver star bulb, empty exhaust(homemade mufflers),gaiters, lower front end ,K&N pods. No air box, no rear fender.
I am currentlly installing the rear brake mastercylinder behind the the sprocket cover with bell crank, crg bar ends, rewiring to hide everthing possible.and change the seat.witch brings me to my question.
Does anybody know if a thunderbird solo seat with hard cowl will work on a 07 bonne.the thux seat does not work for me and costs to much. the bird seat looks more correct.Any imput would be helpful....
Chris.

Welcome Chris. Hey,if you can do all that other stuff, making a custom seat should be a walk in the park. Please excuse the dirt and rust. Its winter here too.

Hey Chris - can't help on the T-bird seat question, but sounds like some great mods you have planned - post pics when she's done.

Chris, post some pics of your bike, I would like to see the master cylinder mod. This does sound interesting.

Welcome Chris - it seems like you have been a very busy man with your Bonneville. If there is one thing we love it's Pictures and plenty of them.

Hi blackedout,
This is not my bike, but as you can see it can be done with a T-bird sport seat and cowel.
This link will get you to their site click on Triumph, then click on Bonneville 01 for more pics http://www.raask.se/

Welcome, Chris. No need to warn you about the mod virus going around here. You are clearly infected beyond cure!
Enjoy!
We await the pics, now and progress pics as you go along, please.

So...Chris...
You've decided to dispense with the "Why are my pipes turning blue, do I have to re-jet," etc. sort of newbie questions.
I bow to your wrenching wisdom. Welcome.
You still owe us a round of libations.
