Share the Love (w/ pics)

After seeing all these threads about storing bikes away for the winter, thought some of you in the colder climates would like to join us (in spirit anyway) on our ride today. It was sunny and in the 60's this 1st day of Dec.

Check the clearance on the freshly installed Hyde Rearsets. Please pay no attention to slightly worn rear tire.

Looks like it was a gorgeous day!

Quite a contrast to my driveway.

Two questions:
What year is that blue one, and why is there a dome light on the asphalt?

Yep your driveway su ucks. The blue one is an 03. The "dome lights" are blobs the state puts on the side of the road so if your bike should head towards the shoulder you'll hit one and KNOW you are in the wrong place.

ah man - I looked for you guys around the loop. I parked at T.W.O.s and offloaded the KLX. My ride was 'ok' - but we didnt see much dirt. This is a pic of the front runners waitin on the rest of the group - we had something like 12-14 riders total.

Ya'll riding tomorrow?

Yes and no. They put them in safety zones/divided spaces too - ya know, those cross stripe zones? Not sure why that one is in front of Turners ... but they're put down to discourage people from driving thru that area.

Also known as "Botts dots" allegedly after the guy who approved their use on U.S. highways.Used to wake up sleeping drivers as they begin to drift out of their lane,or off the road.

Cheers!

Sorry mate, but I can't help but pay attention to that tyre. Slightly worn? What do you call totally shagged? I don't know what the law's like in your state, but that would earn you a defect notice in Qld. Quick smart.
