Looking for riding buddies in UK for German trip.

I wanna plan a trip to a motorcycle guest house, I've been to previously in Germany.
Not many Brits go there although it's very well known on the continent.
Were talking next August. Anyone Interested.
I'll outline it better when I have enough people interested.

2008 German Road Trip so far.

The jist of it's below but it's something I'd like to try to do with a few of you guys next year. Let me know if any of you are interested.

This was what I mentioned to Rat.Net memberTrident_Dave after he said he was interested, I put this out to a few other members I've talked to on here or met personally too.

Dave thats great to hear mate, I always B&B these days myself and it's a lot cheaper on the continent. It also saves lugging a lot of old camping gear around, you get a good kip, a shower every day and start on a good breakfast albeit continental.
I've become much more civilized in the last ten years.

This is a link to the German Guest House although the English doesn't translate to well. But I'tll give you an idea.

I was figuring going Dover Calais Ferry:

As it's the cheapest quickest and nicest way to get over there. I put in an arbitury date of the 7th of August returning on the 14th, just to see what sort of prices came up. £46-£55 return seems about the average although I haven't looked at all the terms and conditions yet:

I haven't been to the Motorcycle Loft before but I've met a few people who have and they say it's excellent.
So I thought we'd spend the first and last night at The Motorcycle Loft in Belgium, relatively easy days.

Lowenhertz is a good days riding from there.

Petrol is a bit cheaper on the continent, but you have to be careful in France on Sundays as most of the gas stations are shut.
But we can talk about all of this later over a beer or something.

This is the very early outline of a plan nothings set, input is gratefully recieved. I obviously have no idea what sort of time is available to anybody who wants to come along, but we can shorten or extend, build more into the trip depending on needs must.
I've never had a problem getting into any accomodation on the continent, there are none of the negative attitudes associated with motorcyclists that you some times come across over here.

Well thats just a bit more info to go on suggest we meet for a few beers in the mean time to firm things up along the way.

Glad to hear your interested.

Keep in touch.

Jon
