I posted an item on the classifieds, and was sent an e-mail that the add had been deleted, apparently for non payment.
I was not aware of a charge for this sevice, and was not prompted when placing the add. Whats up with this, if anyone (the man behind the curtain?) knows?

Geoff: I'll check it out and forward a copy of your post to the other mods and the adm. If it was an ad for an item or items sold privately by a member to other members there should be no charge. If it was an ad to sell something as a "business" eg: like Tshirts with logos, or like anything you make or resell for profit, that would have to be something you arrange with Shawn. I'll let you know. Since this is off topic and should be discussed in a PM, I'm going to leave the thread up but lock it until we get an answer. Please send me a PM giving me some more details about what you were selling, etc. BTW: I think the system rejects ads now that are not accompanied by a pic, but I'll check that out too. When I check new ads, my first step is to see if it has a thumbnail image. If it doesn't, then I remove it. If there are images elsewhere in the ad, that is Ok, but all submissions that are "For Sale" need to include uploaded images.

Ads are free to TriumphRat.Net Users, but I have yet to update the notification text that refers to "for a fee" ads; which haven't yet been implemented.

You are free to re-post your ad, but upload some pics of what you are selling with the submission.
