Another weekend, more rain

Is it me or does it rain every time I have a free weekend to ride the bonnie? Every time I go out in the rain - however much I think I've cleaned and dryed the bike - I get little rust spots on my TOR silencers and wheel rims. They polish out, but keep coming back.

Move to Arizona, cause rust never sleeps.

Same Here

Keep a can of never dull handy!! Does a super job of removing them. Still gotta put wax or whatever after!

you you could just get your rims powder coated, and get the ceramic coated exhaust!

Don's idea is a good one. I don't use wax because I'm too lazy but Pro Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish adds a nice clear film that retards rust. I ride year round here in the north and have no rust on wheels or other chrome parts.

Glad to hear that your chrome parts aren't rusting Monte. That's pretty good for a bloke of your vintage.
Ride Again

The chrome is holding up. Can't say the same for most of the other parts, tho!

Thanks for caring, Scratch.

Thanks guys. I realise that I'm just paying the price for my laziness. I'd better get out the polish.

Roll on the better weather!
