$400.00 off any new Bonneville.

We were looking at new Bonneville's this weekend possibly for my wife. Suddenly the sales lady came up with $400.00 off poster's and started putting them up around us. $400.00 off $8299. for Speedmaster $8199. for America and sorry I can't remember the rest. It was Moto Italia on West San Carlos in San Jose if your interested. All 2007 bike's. She also told me there would be no fuel injection until 2009. I argued that and she said that's what they told her at the dealer convention. I still argued.

That's what the shop I hang at was told too...EFI in 2009...but if you reach up underneath a 2008 Bonnie tank...left side...there is a large gap between the backbone and the tank...that is said to be where the EFI crap is going...then I pointed at the garbage, and said that's where it should go...she laughed...then said they think they are going to have a hard time selling them with all the changes, unless the **** things just sell themselves...**** EPA! Oh Well...

Seems a lot of people still haven't heard even tho it's been posted many times. But i'll say it again........EFI is already being sold on the '08 models in parts of the world including europe. In america however, it's slated for '09 and if you look at the british version of the triumph site and the USA version and click on "2008 bikes" you'll see that the US site shows carbs and the british site shows EFI. read the specs. This by the way is being done because the emissions standards over there have now or will soon (read:before '09) be too tight for carb models. While in the states they are still ok for what the carb bikes emit. Logically it seems the plan is to stay with carbs here in order to sell off the remaining carb models. So if that is indeed the case them we could see EFI turning up sooner than '09 if they run out of carbies.

Oh I forgot to mention the are also offering $1200.00 off on accessories as well. I would have loved $1600 dollars off on my bike. To bad I can't afford a new one right now. We just bought a new car a few month"s ago.
