Temptations

Today's the day I get to test ride a Ducati Hypermotard 1100. I booked the ride last week, when I was still angry at my Triumph dealer for his long waiting list to get my bike serviced, & I was actualy thinking the unthinkable. But I'm over that crisis now, & thinking of all the reasons why I don't want a Duck. So it's really going to have to impress me, to loosen my purse strings. I'm more interested in discovering whether I like it enough to keep saving for one. Or should I forget about it, & spend the $ touring on my Scrambler.
This, of course, all sounds like the sensible & logical thing to do. So expect all of those thoughts to fly out of my head, as soon as I tip the Hyper into the first corner (especialy if they send me out without a chase bike) & I may end up signing up for one on the spot, while the adrenalin's still pumping. In which case, I'll probably be too embarrased to come back & tell you what I've done with my Scrambler. So, in the unlikely event that this is my last post, thank you everyone for an entertaining time, talking Triumph. They really are great bikes. Which is why you'll probably see my next post here, soon. I just couldn't get rid of mine. If I had the Duck, I'd only pine for my Scram. There's only one answer. I want both bikes.
I really do hope they send me out alone though.
See ya's

Well, Scratch, we hardly got ta know ye, lad.

Seriously, if your posts are any indication I'd say that you are hooked on the trumpet and on contributing to this site. You may well buy the duc, have to work three jobs to pay for both, but -- you are getting very sleepy, you will act on what I say --- you will, like Ahhnold, be back.
