There be Gold in them there Badges?

So what do ya think?

Stock...with a sh** job of painting the lettering. I know it's all about production and these things aren't custom built for each customer...but the Overspray was nasty...

Now 1Shot Metal Gold and 1Shot Lettering Black for the outline...

The combo of Black & Gold on Chrome...on Goodwood Green looks rich...

Don't forget the Guinness Bottle cap choke knob...my inspiration for the Black & Gold!

Thanks for watching Cheers!

Then of course the lettering on the seat...over a year now (all sorts of weather) and still looks great!

Generaly, these "blingy" type things don't really intrest me.

I think that the results are VERY GOOD anf you should be quite proud of your results.
Well done.
It's always nice when a bit of your own handywork turns out top shelf.
I'm sure that you'll get more than a few comments on how good they look.

I'de even go so far as to say I would let you do mine
Naaahhh.

Yes I like the gold theme. It all started with the gold pin stripe on my tank.

Steady Hand

Revolt,
I like it. Could I do it if I had a steady hand or did you spray it?

You could spray it...but that would include lot's of masking...I use a dagger pinstripping brush and some 1Shot...

and of course...patience...a steady hand...and a zero tolerance for anything to look..."Good Enough"...it is one of my downfalls...always has been...I've been accused on more than one occasion of "spending a dollar to make a dime..." but it always comes out for the best.

Thanks for the comments...Cheers!

Nice job Rev, look's really good on the green background of your bike.

No gold on mine, but look's really sharp on yours.
