This is worse than misplacing the car keys

This is not earth-shaking. But don't you just hate it when you put something where you know it won't get lost ..... and then you cannot remember where you put it.

In this case, it's the logo I ordered to replace the "Made In England" one that came unglued and fell off my right side engine cover.

I'm sure it'll turn up, about a day after I re-order another one!

I bought a right side cover gasket during my valve fiasco a year ago, and i have no idea what happened to it ! How do you you lose something like that which while thin, is in a 12-15" envelope?! I never found it.

I took my chrome fender bib off a few weeks ago, as I needed to use the luggage rack, and for the life of me I have no idea where it is.
Maybe the bike gods are telling me to ease up on the flame motif chrome!

The RH pillion foot peg fell off my '69 last week. I retraced the entire route I took that day - about 20 miles, looking for it with no luck. It's driving me crazy too 'cause I know it's out there on that route somewhere. Like you say Ohio, I know I'll see it as soon as I order a new one.

Just wait until you don't need it anymore and you'll find it.

You'll find that Made In England sticker after you've traded in for a 2008 Bonnie.

Of course it'll be the last place he looks. Why would he continue looking after he finds it?

Duckman its a joke haven't ever heard someone say its always in the last place you look. Like No S*** when someone ask me if I have lost something I just tell them no I am just taking inventory of my stuff just in case.
