scrambler center stand on a bonnie?

does anyone know if a scrambler center stand would work on a bonnie? i have d&d's so there is no stop to keep the bonnie center stand from hitting the chain. i was about set to modify either the frame, stand or exhaust in some way to make it work when i realized that the scrambler has to have something to keep the stand from coming up and hitting the chain. anyone know of a reason why this wouldn't work? i assume the scrambler and bonnie stands mount in the same location on the frame. just that the scrambler one would have the stop in a different location. i left a message with the local triumph dealer but they're new and not the best resource.

You may have a problem in that the Scrambler stand has longer legs...the Scrambler is higher off of the ground. Given the problems some have getting the bonnys on the center stand I could only imagine that it would be very difficult to get the Bonny up on an even longer (higher) stand.

A scrambler stand would probably work just fine on a bonnie, as long as you were using thruxton length rear shocks.

I'm putting a Scrambler exhaust on my T100, and I noticed that I'll have to modify the centre stand to stop it hitting the chain as you mention. I've been hoping to spot a Scrambler with a centre stand to get an idea of how the T guys did it. You know how it is, you spend two days making something difficult and ugly and then you see how somebody did it in ten mins and pretty. Looking at pictures of a stand I'm thinking that maybe there is an extra lug or something on the Scrambler frame.
