What a gorgeous day!

Here in Minnesota it warmed up to 70+ F today, which is quite a gift for this time of the year.

Got to take my new Bonnie out for a proper ride.

Prior to today, I'd had two rides on her, on at 45F and the other at 60F.
Both were pretty chilly and I didn't really get a feel of the bike's personality.

Today was just perfect! I did a couple long circuits of some backroads I am familiar with, nice rolling twisties.

Man, I can't wait until spring!

Just thought I'd share,
-Kris

Kris, that's good news! There's nothing like a warm day this late in the year to make us really appreciate our bikes and the wonderful scenery they carry us through.

Very nice here too 80-85.Took my first longer ride today.Stopped in Ventura for
some goggles....what a difference, I can now see at speeds above 55! Cruised up to Ojai then the twistys on to home. It's about 50 miles round trip.I am trying to regain my confidence on a bike, mainly the curves.I think I did pretty good. Can't wait till tomorrow.

I'm starting to see why being a mod is hard. This is a GREAT thread, but it doesn't go here. You'll find it in THO.

Reminder: general chat not specific to Bonnie tech issues goes in THO or BHO.

I know. I know. I've done it myself. (and I got moved too!)

'Fraid not. Just the first you've noticed. I really want to keep a low profile on this, but also think I have a bit of an obligation to explain why something is moved, deleted, etc. Problem with being clear about it is that it invites flack. Kind of like being a preacher, if you do anything at all someone won't be happy.

Incidentally, I would have met you over at the Beemer shop but the bikes were both filthy from the 1500 mile trip and the grass was a foot high, and, and, and.......

TOMORROW afternoon looks nice tho, and I am off on Mondays so..............looking forward to riding again ----- now that my rear is no longer numb.......

Sorry to keep adding to this thread Preacher Man. But I've just one question for Kframe.
Why did you buy a new bike this close to the end of the riding season? It sounds like a recipe for a long a frustrating Winter to me. But then again, I suppose if you keep it in your lounge-room, it could give you lots of warm & fuzzy moments, everytime you glance at it & think about Spring. But I know that it'd just frustrate the hell out of me.
So I really do hope you manage to pack some more good rides into '07. To get you through the long nights ahead. & don't forget to keep in touch (through the correct thread posting), & let us know how you're going. We're here to help.
