Can anyone who has the new Street Twin post the maintenance schedule? I am interested in the 10K intervals and what needs to be done.
Or, at least tell me what the book says the interval for the following:
-oil changes
-valve clearance check
-steering head bearings repack/adjustment
-throttle body balancing
-fuel filter change
-spark plug change
-radiator fluid change/flush
-brake fluid change
-and any other big service item.
They are online. Appears they tell you to change the oil every 10k That's the entire lifetime of a motorcycle to most riders
Smart thing is they finally put the Fuel Filter change at 20k like it should be... Even though I think thats still way too early, My HD wasn't needed until 100k and it too is a submerged inline filter. like the Trumpet one.
My 2015 thruxton's interval is 10000km but the service guy at the dealership I bought it from said change it at 5 for peace of mind. I was actually stoked to finally have a bike I didn't have to change the oil on every few months. And a fuel injected bike without having to fiddle with a choke...funny how things end up

Sorry for not making it clear, but I don't have a Street Twin, just wondering about the maintenance. I've tried Triumph's website and just have lots of problems, can't even bring up the 150 or so accessories they are advertising.
Just for anyone who is interested, per the book, here is what it says (per my quick review, verify for yourselves):
(in miles)
-oil changes - 10k
-valve clearance check - 20k
-steering head bearings repack/adjustment - 20k repack, 10k adjust
-throttle body balancing - 10k
-fuel filter change - 20k
-spark plug change - 20k
-radiator fluid change/flush - 3 years regardless of miles
-brake fluid change - 2 years regardless of miles
-fork oil - 40k
-air filter -20k
-and the usual checks.
Of note, if this is like my Tiger 800, you have to take it to the dealer to have them reset the service indicator light (for all of you do-it-yourselfers)

Or buy dealertool, and do it yourself, via your laptop. It's very simple.
Google dealertool - recommended.
