Thumbs down Rider insurance forgets to mail renewals

Just a heads up for anyone with Rider insurance...they said there was a "glitch" and tons of renewal letters were not mailed...I noticed and called right when mine was about to lapse. You'd think they would be able to look and see who's renewal was upcoming or passed and contact them, but I guess they are still in the stone age. I guess they "aren't too good at computers".

That just goes to show how customer care / customer service has really gone down hill over the years.

Used to be the one thing you could count on was that they asked for the money. :

Cool

When you have maxed out the price,...then you have to lower the level of service / staff,...then wages. Got to keep that line on the graph going up. Anyone feeling the pinch yet??

Check out Progressive. They must have mailed four reminders and half a dozen email reminders. You can do everything from their website, which is super convenient and I renewed the day before my due date. I went thru Harley-Davidson Insurance as the broker, they also sent out several reminders. I had it in Outlook anyway, so don't rely on other folks for that kind of stuff.
