Question Is it just me, or do the pages load painfully slow?

Now that I am finally in the 21st century with cable internet connection and a 3.3 gig new computer I am spoiled with the fast page loading compared to my old dialup and Win 98 machine. Since the switch over to the new site design the pages are loading very slowly -- just like in the good old dial up days.

Is it only me or are any of you experiencing the same thing?

(I hope it isn't me but I have scoured the computer for viruses and ad/spy ware and come out clean. & other pages elsewhere load lightning fast.)

Monte

Loads fast enough now. BUt I"m on another forum that uses the same software, and avatars and signature images really bog down loading times for new pages.

They load quite fast for me, Monte, and that's with a DSL and wireless connection that in theory is probably a good deal slower than your cable connection.

It's slower than before. I'm running W2K so maybe it's optimized for Vista and XP?

Hey there Monty. no the pages load fine for me.
since your on cable, your speed will vary by how much traffic there is on the same line.
You can do a Google search for "internet connection speed"
or you can just go here for one http://www.speedtest.net
the interface is a bit much but all that really matters are the #s. It tests both up and down.
