I had heard those on someones bike-really loud. I read where you could install it under the tank, but I think that must have been on an america, because I could not get it to fit, at least in the approved position. The instructions said longetivity would be affected if mounted wrong. So....
I wound up putting it in my now empty air box, using an L bracket attached to a threaded hole where the airbox door for changing the filter is. With the side cover on you cant see it....but you can sure hear it

I mounted my Stebel under the tank of my Scrambler. With the AI valve gone, there was a handy tapped and threaded tab to hang it on. I used one of the bracket parts that came with the horn (plated flat stock, approx. 3/4" by 4", with holes predrilled on either end), after I bent a 5/8" offset in it. This allowed the horn to be centered under the frame tube and away from the tank, in the approved position. Sounds loud (still not good, though: too 'scooter') and is out of the way. Also this frees up the original horn mounting hole for something else (driving light? tow hook? loudspeaker? the tapped hole is lugged up enough to carry something huge - why did the factory do this?)
