Often when I take my Bonnie out for a spin I find myself humming the same songs. Some are motorcycle related, others are not. Some of these are:
Steppenwolf - Born to be wild (an obvious one)
Uriah Heep - Too old to Rock'n'Roll: Too young to die (obvious considering what we ride)
Bob Seger - Roll me away (such a nice one to conjure up the feeling of how a long trip would be)
Queen - Don't stop me now (just because it's such an uptempo, positive tune)
Anyone else have songs in their ears/ on their mind, or are you happy with just the melody of the pipes?

There is a great song by mark knopfler called "speedway in Nazareth that is great to listen to when cruising on bike or car. He's british too.

I'm just happy with the song my bike sings to me as we ride.

Richard Thompson's "Vincent Black Lightening", of course.
Oh, and anything by Uncle Tupelo.

"Drinkin' Thing" by Gary Stewart. No real reason, it's just an awesome song that I currently can't get out of my head.

Today on the ride it was White Zombie - La Sexorcisto, Thunderkiss 65 kicks butt on a good twisty road, and some StaticX - Start a War, Dirthouse and Loser makes me want to wheelie!

Best bike song ever:"Black denim trousers and motorcycle boots" by The Cheers, later by Vaughn Monroe, the french -heartbreaking- version of it by Edith Piaf ( L'homme a la moto ): all dating back to 1954 and the version Chris Spedding made of it in the seventies ( wild guess ).
