Cleaned her up today, so what do you think Harley haters? If this storm passes through I might even (gasp!) take it for a ride.

Nice looking bike. I wish I had room for two bikes in my garage. If I did, one would be a tourer.

That is a beautiful bike. If you get tired of it and need to send it to a good home that will treat it like another child, I can PM you my address. You can even come and visit, if you give me enough time to shine it properly.

That one is most definitely a keeper. The Sporty goes to a new home Monday. The Superglide needs to find one too.

Beautiful Bike...I don't think it's the Harley people hate...it's the Attitude...the "Culture" they try to live...I just Love motorcycles...I hate the whole HD Shopping spree for gear...Bar/Shield this and that, and this and that...I own a Harley and ONE T-Shirt...I got it for free when I bought the bike.
Here is my set...That's the Day I brought my Bonnie home...Stock...Didn't take long to change that...

You are right about the "attitude", Revolt. Whatever you ride just enjoy it and respect other people's choices and the world would be a happier place. I had a 2002 Red and Black Road King Classic for a couple years. With a short inseam the Softail just fit me better. Nice lookin' pair you have there.

They're beautiful bikes for sure, both of you! OhioTT, do you find it difficult going back and forth among bikes of such different weights, handling characteristics, and geometries? I find it's not too bad going between the Bonnie and my Stella, but they're so very different (the shifter is on the left hand grip on a Stella) that there are a lot of mental triggers to mentally switch between the handling characteristics. What about on the mix of big bikes you have?
The only thing I dislike about the actual bikes from H-D is the alphabet soup, which completely mystifies me. I mean, every bike in their catalog *has* a name, so why the alphabet soup? I know an XL(random other stuff) is a Sportster, and everything else seems to start with FL, but why not just call them Sportster, Dyna, Road King, Electra Glide, etc.? I kind of suspect it's a way to separate those "in the know" from the rest of us; if somebody says, " I have a FLTCHS" I don't know what they're talking about.

Something that amused me recently, I was standing outside a pub the other day with my bonnie, and my mate was standing next to his speed four, the other bikes outside the pub were the usual jap sport, and these guys were walking past shouting 'harley davidsons are rubbish harleys are gay etc' those guys looked to be in their mid 30s, made me laugh!

I think as a group we don't dislike H-D's
Its the costume wearing freak show that puts us off.
