My new protocol.
Be courteous and friendly to all. If they do not respond, smoke em at the next light. :-D

A Napoleon is a brand of bar end mirror, to replace the stalked mirrors. You can see in the pictures how they might make the cool low wave difficult.

Thanks Billybob!!
WWS-the bag is a Wolfman Enduro tankbag, adapted for the Triumph solo seat:
Wolfman Enduro
When I had the stock seat, I used a RevPack Jr. Tailbag, and it was great, but not so great for a seat with as much slope as the solo. I looked everywhere, and finally decided to try the Wolfman, as it is designed for the sloping tanks of enduro bikes. I used the hardware from the RevPack Jr that connects to the bike--four straps with sewn loops on one end (to attach to points on the bike) and four male click lock fasteners on the other. Then I changed out the female ends on the bag for the ones that fit the male ends from the RevPack. There are two female click lock fasteners off the back, and one off the LH side of the front. I had to cut one long strap on the front RH side and sew it with upholstery thread to attach a fourth female connector. It holds a pair of fairly bulky FirstGear Rainman pants, a 7"x5"x3" tool kit, a Nikon Coolpix compact camera, phone, maps, and an emergency flashing strobe. It had a non-slip bottom and is on the bike quite securely. For longer trips, I've thought of the Wolfman Expedition or Explorer tankbag, adapted in the same manner. There should be more pics in my photo album

It attaches to the bike at the top of the shocks and, in the rear, to a Bungee Buddy mounted on each side of the fender. This shows it from the side:
