Checkout out the window display at the Ralph Lauren store in Nolita (corner of Prince and Mott). The display consists of pics of Steve McQueen riding his triumph, working on his Triumph while wearing a kickass vintage triumph t-shirt but the kicker is that the dispaly also includes an actual motorcycle but the get this, the bike shown is . . . a vintage BMW.

I thought you were going to tell everyone about the Lee Parks clinic at BMW of Manhattan Thursday night (5/31).

Lee Parks' Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic

In today's high-horsepower superbikes, large-displacement cruisers and super-heavy-weight tourers mean riding skills are more important than ever for safe, fun motorcycling. However, there is a large gap between the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Experienced Rider Course and the many racetrack courses offered around the country. Many riders are interested in improving their skills, but are wary of the risks associated with a high-speed environment. Lee Parks' Total Control ARC offers experienced riders, track-day junkies and racers a course specifically designed to improve their skills in a controlled environment.

Anyone going to this? I'm seriously thinking of it.

I've decided that I'm going to the Lee Parks thing tonight.

Will I see anyone else from this site there?? I'll be wearing jeans and a dark grey longsleeve t-shirt.
