Got my Jafram throw overs today. They're cheap in more ways than one. I'm not one to believe the adage "you get what you pay for" is always true. But in this case it is . These bags are junk. They said they are height adjustable and there is NO height adjustment at all. Quality, i'd give them a 3 or 4. Spend a bit more and get something decent. This stuff is trash at best.

Thanks Dazco. Have you thought about posting this to the Gadgets and Gear forum? Might help a broader audience avoid the same mistake.

I don't think theres a "gadgets and gear" forum here. Maybe you're thinking of a different site?

And yet I'm rediculously happy with my sissy bag from them. Used to use it every day for work, carrying far too much weight in it. Then I took the bar off... I'm looking at modding it to go on my solo rack. But that shouldn't be hard....
I guess that I'm either easily pleased or you are hard to please.
Or for every satisified customer there's one that's not.

Ditto on the sissybar bag (Jafrum Model SB-1). Had mine for almost 2-years now and have no complaints.

Or a third possibility.....some of thier stuff is ok, some not. I mentioned this in the same thread in the cruiser forum but posted new instead of copy/paste. In any case, trust me on this...it's not a matter of being hard to please. I wasn't expecting much at all ! They are pure junk. One of the bags is all krinkled, the construction is sloppy, and the leather looks sorta like cardboard. Then theres the issue of them saying they are height adjustable when they aren't.
So chances are your bag is much better. Mine were dirt cheap, maybe your bag was not as rediculously cheap and therefore was better made. But i assure you you'd NOT be pleased with these. If they were height adjustable then i'd consider keeping them since i'm really not concerned much with quality since they will be used only rarely when i go on a long trip. But even then i worry because the straps are thin and tiny and neither those or the stitching that holds them on looks like they would last many miles.

These bags They don't look as good as in the pic. I wouldn't have bought them if the pics was close to the real thing.

I see those straps are riveted on not sewn and where is the concho? I found a pretty decent pair of bags on ebay and only paid $83.00 . They came with sportster supports which I mounted to my wife's Suzuki LS650. Click here to see how I mounted the bag's.
