I love my bike. Way way way too much to be healthy. And now I'm thinking of getting a vertical twin motor tattoo that I'll probably regret so that everyone else sees that I have an unhealthy obsession too. Does anyone have any good motor shots or artwork that they can post? I want to get the essence of the Triumph without having to use any wording or anything.
You only live once and I know she'll never dump me as long as I keep her clean and freshly oiled and respect her around curves, so what is there to lose? :???:

Maybe just use a pic of the original speed twin - its an iconic engine.

That's pretty much what I have been looking at. To discuss further, I was going to morph it with a realistic looking classic heart and make the motor look like it's pumping blood.

Man,am I getting old and sappy. When I think Triumph tattoo`s,I thought about Caspianthruxton. That makes me very sad, even though I never met the kid. Sorry,no T tats for me.
Good luck with your search.

Not old and sappy, rodburner. I'm a relatively young man and I think about TJ from time to time too (even though I only knew him from this forum). As a matter of fact, he came to mind today while I was riding through the Angeles Forest mountains. Don't know why, but I thought of him.
I'd love to see what you come up with TCL. I've been coming up with my own Triumph tat design myself. Once I have it nailed down, I'll post a pic.
Cheers.

I'm working on one myself. However, I think I am going to use the Triumph logo as the base. I'm still thinking about the rest.

I know I'll own other bikes and other brands, but this is the first and the start of the obsession, so I think I'll always look at it fondly.

Neither of you are. Someone replied in one of his threads a couple of days ago - maybe a week - and I got chills down my spine... He lived and breathed his Thruxton and the Triumph tats just proved that.
A twin ngine as a tat..... would be pretty cool....and original. I haven't seen anyone with that.
