Can someone tell me the distance between the forks on a Speedy/America?

I need either an inside to inside of the fork legs, or a center to center of the fork caps.

thanks!

Love to, sweat.

But it's dark out.

And my bike lives in poison ivy...

Maybe in the am.

ps - I ordered a shed.

Don't know how exact you want it but it's about 6.5 inches from inside the fork leg to inside the other leg. I took the measurement at the top of the legs on a speedmaster just above the guard. Tried with the verniers but they were too small a set so it could be a fraction out.

Hhhmm. I must have measured the wrong place - I got 8 5/8 center to center.

Oh, I think I did the fork caps...America 04
