FINALLY got my ride back this morning...
Here's a couple of pics.
Love the sound of the short TORS, the look of the Chris "Deuce" signals, and though you can't see them, the LED control panel bulbs, (thanks Dazco) are an incredible improvement.
Well, I'm back on the road in a few minutes.
Golf can wait.
:-D

Thanks Daz, and you are very welcome as well.
Yea, I got the Brent seat, flame version, last year, and I like the feel and the additional lowerage factor, as I am a bit inseam challenged.
The over all look of the bike, which you allude to, is a complete departure from golf, my background, my job, my life I guess...
And that is exactly why I did it and dig it.
It felt so good to chuck work today, pick up the bike at the dealer's when the shop opened, cruise around the lakes, put on a few little doo dads from winter E-bayage, and cruise around some more.
I've been out to the garage 3 times in the last 2 hours, just to look at it.

LOL ! Don't we all know the feeling ! Heck, i was just staring at the pics of your bike and digging it. So many different flavors of speedmaster/americas with all the different mods done here and they all look awesome in their own way because the basic bikes are just so awesomely designed in the first place. After 2 years i still cannot park my bike and walk away facing the direction i am walking.
By the way, how is the comfort of that saddle compared to stock? I'm kinda stuck in the middle as to whether i like it or not looks-wise, but i'd sure appreciate the lower factor and the leather. I'm not going to do any more mods to mine because i am either going to buy the rumored 1600 (assuming it AIN'T a rumor after all :-D ) or a new speedmaster within the next year. But when i do, if it's another speedy (or even the 1600 if the seat is vinyl) i want to either get a leather seat or have the stock one re-covered in leather.

I'll agree with you on the sound of the TOR shorties. Fired mine up for the first time today after fitting the pipes and it was like chalk and cheese. A little backfire and a bit harder to start but when warm the idle note was great. Not deafening but not the sewing machine it was.
Weather looks good over there as well. Makes a difference from reading where you guys are stuck indoors because of rain.
