I installed this over the weekend, but I'm still deciding if I like it. Fender is off a 79 or 80 Suzuki GS.

The fender looks good but out of place with the painted rear.

Just looked at your photos [whoa, you're a big fella] and the bike looks much better with green front and rear. Nice ride, by the way.

Favorite Bike: 04 America. Black, chrome, with a hint of red for contrast.

I think it looks great! But probably only with the green or maybe mulberry motif.

A gentle suggestion... lose the reflectors. They detract from the general look, and are especially out of place with the chrome front forks and fender.

Cool on you to give it a go!

I think it goes well with the bike and really accents the work you've done to it. It gives the front end a great custom look. Great looking bike!

Papa no like. I installed chrome shrouds once and took them off within a week. Some things just don't look right chrome, at least to me.
IMO if you don't know you like it right away you're not likely to ever fully like it.

I like the look of it but then I am a chrome junkie. My 19 year old kid would salivate all over your bike. He wants a green America so bad he can taste it. He makes more $,s than I do so if you want to sell let me know. It looks to me like you have all the chrome I have on old Blackie. Blacked out bull$h*t does not turn heads. Chrome does. Thats why more people stare at my America then they do my son-in-laws Speedmaster!

Uh, you ain't ridden with me ! Maybe L.A. is different than where you are, but my blacked out speedmaster turns heads constantly. I rode with 2 highly chromed 20 and 30k harleys a couple weeks ago and when we stopped to eat i had 3 guys salivating over my bike and they never even looked at the harleys. I get so much attention it's insane.

Play nice guys... No need for a Chrome vs Black battle.
Daz, you've got a sweet bike, it will turn heads over the HD bikes whether it has chrome or not.
