This, my friends, this is a gas tank.

It's the Norman Hyde Street Scrambler tank, made of alloy and with a ~5.8 U.S. gallon capacity. I figured some folks might like to get an idea of what it looks like compared to a stock tank.

Now, what to do about paint?

HELL YEAH!! Polish that Mutha-F'er!!! You would be doing the Motorcycle a great deal of Justice if that thing were Polished to it's natural Gleam!!!

Curious...I wonder why they didn't ditch the pich seam? Is that mass produced or a custom job? Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the tank...just thought that it would be a great chance to ditch the pinch seam...

How Much...?? Come on...Please...

+1000 for polish.

You could even paint a stipe down the center, and polish it.

POLISH!!!

Maybe polish it, then paint just the scallops like the original tank has. Alternatively, paint all but the knee cutouts. Definitely should be able to see some of that polished alloy coming through though.
