The 1st Sunday or every month Ephrata hold's a breakfast, we typically make a stop along the way and just go to see the bikes as it is so crowded there.
The 3rd Sunday we go to Lawn PA for their VFD breakfast, great spread. I think it's 8.00 for ll you can shovel down. Really good food there.
We meet at Capitol Area Triumph for both, in Highspire PA. Anyone is welcome, as well as any type of bike. I'm not completely familiar with the area, and usually follow guy's up the road from the dealership..making my own way back if needed.
...If your in the area your welcome to go.

I'll mark the calendar Trim. That's a nice ride for me out rt 23 to Highspire, esp on an early Sun morning.

Hey D, sorry our ride the other day didnt pan out as planned. We limped joe back home after some scary moment's on 81. Went back to the shop for a beer and I headed home. Your bike is sweet man, really suprised by how quiet the staintunes are, thought they would be more like the pred's.
Sounds nice when behind you though and your "on it"
Hope to ride again with ya soon, have a good week.

Nice turn-out for a chilly morning - a few new bonnies & and bonnie variants around.
I may check out lawn later this month...

Nope, sorry no pictures.
The ephrata event is the 1st sunday of each month through september. it starts at 8:30 or 9:00, no admission. the breakfast line is ridiculous so I have no idea how much the food costs. It is at the community park on the east side of town as you come in on Rt. 322 - you can't miss it - there are fire police directing traffic at the entrance.
To be honest, i don't know if there is an organized ride from the event or not.

Not that I am aware of, we just meet at C.A.T. and ride out to a stop for breakfast, and then head to ephrata.
The Lawn breakfast is much less crowded and the food is awesome. The ride there is very nice as well, pretty area.

No real website to reference. They've been doing it for a long time, used to be at the old Cloisters park, but outgrew that and moved the Legion or VFW (I always forget which). It's free, but get there early (before 9 AM for a spot in the main lot. I've been there with close to 2,000 bikes, it fills up real fast on nice weather days. To be honest, the food is awful, but around $7 for all you care to eat. I usually give them a buck or two for coffee. I like the variety of bikes that show up - NOT the usual HD RUB-fest. A lot of cool euro stuff to look at.
I used to go pretty regularly when my brother had a bike, I'd meet him in Hanover. He sold his bike, so probably won't make the trip as often (about 3.5 hours away).
I used to spend a lot of time at Harvey's Lake and Sylvan Lake when I was growing up. My Uncle still has the house on Sylvan Lake.

Hey Trim, thanks for the kudos. I love my Bonnie but she pales in comparison next to yours, man.
No worries on the ride. I got nearly 300 mi in by the time I got home and I rarely get to do that kind of distance. Most of it some pretty nice riding too. Even freeway flying is fun once in a while (just not crazy about hitting those potholes at 80 mph). Man there were some doozies on 81. :-D
Can't wait for the next ride...
