So they just re-graveled the road I live on. Big, loose rocks, etc.

I (like an idiot) am standing on the pegs and trying to ride the bonnie like a dirt bike. Yup, you guessed it, dumped her turning onto the road leading to my driveway at 5 mph.

Scratched mirror, scratched front and read brake lever and (worst of all) dented and scratched exhaust.

bummer

I have stock mirrors and stock exhaust in perfect condition. PM me if you're interested.

Sorry about your spill.

I dropped mine last week doing 2kph or thereabouts, bloody embarrasing. I was doing a u-turn on gravel over soft sand. Front wheel decided to go it's own way???? :???: :???: :???: :???:

Yeah, feel like a bit of a prat dropping it like that. Thankfully the damage isn't obvious enough for the wife to notice. (Still trying to get her to ride with me, and admitting I dumped the bike won't help!)

Not even sure what I did. Might have brushed the front brake I guess.

I've done it. Yeah, you do end up feeling like a total idiot. At least she didn't see you, which is more than I can say. :-D

Hit a shrub pulling in my driveway a month ago. I hate gravel. Cleaned the driveway the next day. Didn't lay it down but the bushes can sure sratch paint.

Twice I have dumped a bike: first on sand and gravel and the second on wet leaves, maple leaves I recall. Both the bikes and my ego were a bit bruised.

I live in Gresham/Portland area...What exhaust do you have?? If it is stock...I have a Left can with 600 miles on it...no damage, and a brand new left with maybe 10 miles on it, no damage...I have two new stock mirrors...but no brake levers...Let me know if you could use any of this stuff...I can post pictures...

I hate gravel. Sorry to hear about the spill, no fun.

Those aren't scratches, that's character (or patina)!
