I've noticed some oil misting on my beloved creamcicles cases. Should I be concerned? I've never had a bike that did this. It's obviously not enough to effect the oil level to any degree but still.... :???:

I'd look into it. They are not supposed to leak, but what constitutes misting?
Most likely culprit seems to be valve cover, which may be seeping and then blowing all over. the clutch case seal, maybe suspect as well, but you need to find out where its coming from

Check that all the fittings on your oil cooler are tight. Could be leaking there and blowing back in the wind.

This happened to me and a few others, tho i'm not sure i'd call it misting. The oil line bolt at the oil cooler leaked and the oild ended up on the cases. The fix is to remove the copper washer that is a seal and either replace it or sand it smooth or anneal it. Look for leakage there. I would fix it even tho it's a small amount because if thats what it is it may eventually get worse like mine did and all of a sudden begin squirting it out like a hose. Lucky for me it happened when i was only a couple miles from home. I noticed it when i saw and smelled smoke form the oil burning on my headers.

Do you use any tire shining juices? It can pool in the letters on your tires then sling off leaving black specs. Happens on my car some.
