New Moto Museum and Moto Fest. Saw a great collection of bikes, even the ones that were ridden to the event! Good showing for Triumph, BMW, and Harley's of course.

Heading there today, myself - it's only a couple of miles from my house.

D9 and I saw a Bonnie black parked with MO plates and wondered if it was you or not. Check out the trial rider demo Geoff Aaron, he was amazing, he actually impressed me more than the Streetfighters demo.

If it had a red helmet hung from the handle bars and was parked next to a 1980s white BMW k100-s (my Dad's bike), that was me. I've got a buttload of pics on my cell phone, including several of that Eastern Bloc sidecar rig with the faux "jet intake" on the nose of the sidecar. That thing is crazy cool - all it would need is some metalflake paint to look like it it was taken straight off a mid-'70s carnival ride.
There are some extremely cool bikes there, and lots of great people. I watched a few minutes of the trials rider doing his thing, but the crowd was such that I couldn't get a good vantage point without stepping on people, so we took off.
The guys from MichaelsMotorcycles.com were there with a nice selection, including a brand new (and I mean 8/10s of a mile on the odometer, never had gas or oil in its tanks, never had acid in the battery), fresh from the crate 1969 BSA Rocket III. Beautiful bike in stunning condition.
And it's an absolutely gorgeous day for a ride.
I'll post pics later, but my broken toilet isn't going to fix itself and that needs to get done before the wife gets home.

A tidy little GB-500 parked outside:
There was a Horex (don't ask me) on display inside. What was really cool were the little details - like this elaborate seal on the Horex spark plug boot. My picture doesn't do it justice:

Great pics. Good shots for a camera phone. I'm not as close as you are, but just across the river and close enough to make another visit sometime soon. I liked the Soviet BMW with the side car. Looked like a military motorcycle. Apparently after WWII the Russians took the plans from BMW, copied them and even put BMW emblems on them. Did you see the dealer with the Urals? Not to bad for a new bike with sidecar for $9200.00 - $10200.00! Russian made though. That's the America I saw one morning on my way to work with the young lady riding it.
