Last night I was at Radio City Music Hall for Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds - acoustic. Great show.

I was on line for a beer and the guy in front of me had a jacket on that said "Bakersville Triumph" on the back and had a huge TRIUMPH logo on the front.

I said, "nice jacket - do you ride a Triumph?" His response, "no, I just liked the jacket". I actually felt bad for him.

I did see a Bonnie on the West Side Highway - the guy blew by me in the fast lane and the bike was LOUD. It was a red/silver new Bonnie same as mine but this guy has way more balls than me - and louder pipes!

C, I often wonder if all the people with HD stickers on their cars/trucks/SUVs really have bikes or not.

Macy's here in detroit sells Triumph T-shirts. I'm sure the people shopping there are not all motorcycle owners.

Sheesh, I thought only 1%-ers were going to Radio City, and now you tell me there was someone there who doesn't even ride a bike? What's happened? Has RCMH gone soft?

BTW, I have logo gear for bikes I don't own. Uh-oh.

I saw a fella with cowboy boots on and he did not have a horse. He had never even been on a horse. :-D

I have a Vincent shirt, but I don't think of it as posing. I see it as an homage...

Yeah, but you guys all ride, so to a certain extent, you are entitled. I think unfortunately what we are seeing is the Triumph brand moving into popular culture. Kind of sad in a way, in that everything that really enters the public consciousness in this way gets watered down to the point of not meaning anything.
