Just returned from a motorcycle riders Paradise its called Ginger's creek ,
near port macquarie northern nsw.
its the best stretch of free flowing corners and magnificent scenery i have experienced, with a little bike friendly cafe halfway along with magnificent views, the place was just full of motorcycles and hardly any cars there are signs at either end with motorcycles out of control painted on them, and if your at the cafe watching the guys climbing the mountain it is unreal wow i want to live there ..

Yes the Oxleys a goodun,
Snowy Mountains Hwy too.
Elliot Way.
Bonang Hwy.
Gorge road / Loberthal (SA) is better than the Putty
Barry Way (NSW Vic) too if you like a bit of dirt.
Mt Buggery (Qld).
Alpine Way.
SEQ has some beauts, Malaney, Imbil and around Kilkoy and that Dam ...all good.
Bridle Track.
All of Tasmania!
GOR overated IMO and full of tourists.

Some stunning dirt roads with no radar included in the above.

I understand, but wouldn't you love to just ride it one more time this year? I just checked out Ginger's Creek on Google Earth. It looks like a great place to ride. I wish I had the time and the finances. Australia is a beautiful country.

I Want to ride it every weekend we all have our favourite little stretches, but some because of distances involved have to be left as a treat.
Australia is a beautiful country and Iam sure America is to but in a different way, I have American and Canadian friends that visit occasionally and its amazing how similar our cultures are..

Yeah, there are some great roads around the Adelaide Hills, but the fookin cahns are setting up speed cameras in wheelie bins and behind trees etc, especially on the weekends!!

I live in Gawler, a 5 minute ride from my place to some glorious roads. Done 53,000 kms on my '04 Thruxton, all of them blasting in the Adelaide Hills.

Cheers...........Agro
