I worked my ass off the last 2 days to get this bike back together. I had a hell of a time with the cam chain yesterday but with some help from a turbo-charged forum member I got it straightened out.

I spent about 10 hours on reassembly total, with a couple of dumbass mistakes, and a few runs to get beer/food/etc. It was a lot of work and I'm happy to have it done. Would I do it over again? Hell yes!

I got a set of Bubs and sold my predators. I'm either missing some hardware for the Bubs or I can't figure out how to mount the mufflers so for now it has no mufflers on it. I didn't ride it more than a mile or so, just enough to get it warm, but with no mufflers (an no back pressure) it feels weak, and I'm sure my jetting is off so there's no mountain of power...yet.

Here are some pics:

after:

and here's a short video (the sound totally sucks, it's way overloaded with the open pipes) just to prove it runs!

Sweat's 904 video!

I thought the bubs came with their own headers. To my old eyes those headers look like the stock ones.

I'm sure you're glad to have it back in one piece--well almost one piece sans silencers. :-D Make some temporary silencer mount brackets and get them rings seated. :-D

Good job Jeff. Bubs ? I thought Pred`s were the shiznizziest? I gutted the rest of my mini cans today and made my own baffle assembly. No more hollow sound. Also removed the brackets and swapped the cans side to side to lower the angle a tad. If the wife complains much more,I`ll send them to you for a proper test. :-D

Pictures of the end product of engine work don't look like much, but I'm glad to see the proof that it's done. Good job. :-g
