Ok - ever since the GF bought her Bonnie Black in December - she has been quietly hinting that she wanted it modified. "I want my bike to look like that" is her subtle way to hinting ... anyway ... here's how it's sitting right now. Can't make up my mind which seat looks better on it. The Thrux or Solo. I'm sure she'll be picking up a black cowl cover in the near future - but still not sure that combo would look better on her bike.

Anyone?

LOL at Larry....

I suppose her height or inseam length may play a small role in this. I recently picked up a 68 seat, and I had a solo in the past. The solo seemed to sit a little lower than the 68 seat I have now...maybe it was just slightly narrower in the front.

As for comfort, I suppose it's a matter of opinion. The solo seemed a little softer than the 68 does. The 68 seem's softer than the original.

Personally, I like the thrux seat with a cowl on it.

drop the girlfriend and keep the bonnie black!

Actually for ideas only, cause it's way too expensive, go to triumphs website.

Here man, show her this Badass seat

Nicest I've seen, the direction of both your ride's seem's to be towards the sportier end of things as opposed to retro.

Would be a good look, but not cheap.

Here's a pic from the link SCCTrim posted.

Badass.

And one vote for the thrux seat with a cowl.

Thrux seat all the way. Gives you option of tail cowl and looks better

Trim - she's 5'08" with legs up to ^ here - seat height on these bikes is not a problem for her. She's expressed the positives and negs of both. The Thrux with the cowl looks cooler and gives a 2-up option - but the Solo is much more comfortable and gives the single seat sporty-look option.

I doubt she'll pony up the $$$ for the MAS seat or if she even likes that (I've never asked her about stuff I ain't will to buy) - and I aint spending that much on her unless it's christmas I have a MAS Race-seat on my bike that I ordered thru NewBonneville and it is Da BomB! - see my sig line link for a pic.

Thanks for the comments guys - guess she's gonna ride awhile with the SOLO seat until the black cowl comes in ...

BTW - jimmyc - I get to ride both any time I want, so why would I get rid of the GF? She's kinda easy on the eyes and has her own bike. BONUS!

I've never seen the solo seat with the fender elimination. I think it looks pretty sweet! More original than the trux seat which seems your style.

Are those the rizmo mirrors? How do you like them?
