The SEARCH feature works ... Pictures

No difference betweem the seats (OEM, GEL, or Sixty8) except the sixty8 offers choice of two tone colors.

Visually, Thruxton OEM and Thruxton gel seat are the same. But, I can ride at most trough a tank (100-120 miles) with the OEM. The gel seat allows to keep riding. For example, Montreal to Toronto (350 miles), with no pain.
Take care

They're the same internally as well.

Not in 2004. I still have the OEM one. The padding is completely different.

Whatever you say. I have an older OEM one myself and a brand new Gel seat. They're completely the same seat. The only difference is the price ... oh wait, there one other difference, there's a cloth tag sewn on the Gel seat. Debunked. :hammer:

There's another difference too: The Thruxton gel seat lists for $225 or something like that and is available online for under $200. The stock Thrux seat is (according to my dealer) a different part number and costs a lot more, like $275 or $280 or something. I will never understand Triumph's parts pricing.

Thanks to all who attended!

Do you keep one bullet left for yourself, for when it's all over and done?
