I installed emgo pea-shooters, and I gotta say, especially for the cheaper solution, they sound really great! agressive deep tone without the sharp edge I have heard from some systems.
to any hooligans -in -training, these'll send you to the head of the class

Yup, they're Sprint Exhaust, and I got mine from NewBonneville, and the sound is authentically awesome.

Excellent value: well finished, sound incredible, and the mechanics at Pete's Cycle, Baltimore said installation was easy.

they also said the sound was the best they've heard from any pipes they've installed since the resurrected Bonnies arrived in '01.

hey Rick, what are you jetted at? They run on what I have now, but definitely a tad lean with stock 40 pilots and 120 mains.
I still have stock air box just desnorkled, and I was thinking 42 pilots and 130 mains.

Geoff,

The 07, with 865cc engine, comes with stock Thruxton needle.

Did research at Jenks, "Tuning Notes for the Triumph "Bonneville" Family of Motorcycles, chart, Carburetor Settings, 2006, and based on the matrix:

Main Jet: 115
Pilot Jet: 40
Shims: 1
Pilot Screw: 2.75 turns
Air Hole: 3.0 mm
Needle Code: NBTZ

She runs beautifully, whether cold or hot. Little backfire when cold, but insignificant. No lag or flat spots at any point in the torque curve.

The "jetting calculator" says:

for open pipes, all snorkles removed (remove the inner one if you haven't already - big improvement), and stock filter:

125 main jet.

well, its lean with 40 pilots. and I am hesitant to shim the thrux needle, which by most accounts is rich enough.
I may try the 42 pilot and see what she does
