Because I sure can't.

I just don't get it. I can't get on the Bonnie without pinning the throttle and blasting through turns.

I've got a cage that's as fast (maybe faster) than the Bonnie, and turns nearly as well, and I don't drive that like an idiot (usually).

Is it just part of the motorcycling sickness? Will it pass?

Big plate glass buildings, loud pipes, and a good lookin bonnie are a winning combination.

One for for hooliganism.

In my mind's eye, yes.
On the throttle, no, and I'm okay with that.

yes it will.
there's a whole list of names that aren't here anymore...my personal favorite was shanonnunley...occassionaly sign off as "fastest f***er ever"...briefly on a BMW KRS as I recall.

an alternative remedy is hit a deer...you may well be at the top of your game, with skill bou-cou...and the instant of disbelief when something from the outside comes into your world beyond your ability to control it teaches skill is nice, but no magic bubble.

I'm sure there are other remedies, but just be sure there are scoffers reading these words right now that will not be with us next year at this time...and the only sure cure is maturity.

the geriatric riders...butt of so many jokes... are those who keep their monster on a leash. The bragidosio supply us with parts bikes.

it might be fun to keep a running list of casualties who think I'm off base...and age at impact.

Having motorcycles have provided me with an almost impossible challenge to have self discipline. Both of the bikes are more than enough to get into serious legal and medical trouble. But there are times when you can drop the hammer and go. It is also fun to use the "passing power" excuse when you feel like humbling the surrounding traffic.

Don't go faster than you can see, that's all I'm saying. It makes sense if you think about it. Read my sig line.
